My Introduction to Trading
My name is Christopher Jackson, and my journey into Forex trading began when I was just 15 years old. At that time, I had just left school after being diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. While this presented challenges, it also gave me an incredible ability to focus deeply on things that truly interested me.
Around that same time, my father was learning Forex from one of Australia’s top traders. I would watch over his shoulder, captivated by the movement of the charts, the patterns, and the strategy behind each trade. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this was something I wanted to master.
One of the strengths of having Asperger’s is the ability to hyper-focus. When I set my mind to something, I don’t stop until I fully understand it. That’s exactly what happened with Forex—I became obsessed with learning everything I could.
The trader who was teaching my father quickly noticed my potential. He saw that I had a natural ability to analyze markets and understand trading concepts at a deep level. Recognizing this, he took me under his wing and personally mentored me. He taught me everything—how to read price action, manage risk, and develop a disciplined trading mindset. This guidance was invaluable and shaped the way I approached trading for the rest of my life.
From Passion to High-Stakes
By the age of 18, my dedication to Forex had taken me further than I ever imagined—I was trading a hedge fund with over $4 million under management. The thrill of handling such large sums was incredible, but with it came immense pressure. Every decision carried weight, and the stress of trading other people’s money started to take a toll.
I realized that while I loved trading, I wanted to do it on my own terms. The constant pressure of managing a fund didn’t align with the way I wanted to approach the markets. So, I made a bold decision—to step away from hedge fund trading and focus solely on my personal account. This allowed me to refine my strategies, trade with more freedom, and ultimately develop a deeper understanding of the markets without external stress.
Trading my personal account not only gave me more control over my decisions but also provided a more relaxed environment—one where I could truly enjoy the freedom that Forex offered. It allowed me to travel the world, something I had always dreamed of.
But for me, success was never just about financial freedom; I wanted to use my time and resources to help others. Whenever disaster struck, I felt compelled to take action. I traveled to Thailand after the tsunami, Vanuatu after the earthquake, and Haiti when tragedy hit there as well. These experiences shaped my perspective on life, reinforcing my belief that wealth should be a tool for making a difference.
The Birth of Project Freedom
Five years ago, a thought struck me—how could I continue trading while creating something that positively impacted people’s lives? That’s when I decided to take my years of Forex knowledge and find a programmer who could help me turn it into an AI-driven Forex EA. The goal was simple: to build a system that could trade as effectively as I did, but without the limitations of human emotions.
Four years ago, I launched Project Freedom, a groundbreaking automated trading system designed to generate steady, low-risk returns. After years of development and refinement, the system was finally complete, and it exceeded all expectations.
